The Founding 50

A place in the first crate.
Help support the future of our independent music community. Up to 50 qualifying paid members can hold a Founding Recordholic place—with individually numbered recognition and protected founding rates while paid membership stays continuous. Your place is provisional during the seven-day first-payment refund period.

Recognition that stays with you.
Your numbered founding badge is separate from your current paid-membership badge. A qualifying full refund of your original first payment revokes provisional founding status, its badge and protected pricing, and returns that number to availability. A timely request remains eligible even if processed after day seven. Otherwise, once the refund window closes and timely requests are resolved, your number becomes permanent. Ordinary cancellation then preserves it; paid privileges and protected prices end when paid access expires. Permanently finalized numbers are never reassigned. The series is #01–#50.
The Deep Cuts is coming.
We are developing original interviews, extended video features, behind-the-scenes stories, reviewed RA archival material and special collector features. These are planned offerings—not a library of content available today. No release dates or fixed publishing quantities are promised.
Every founder receives a 60-day complimentary Premium benefit when the first substantive Premium content launches with owner approval. It does not start at signup or create a new paid subscription. Current $5 subscriptions remain in place; current $12 founders receive a $24 billing credit as the equivalent launch benefit. No benefit or credit is activated yet.
Can I switch between founding tiers?
Yes. Direct changes between the protected $5 Supporter and $12 Premium tiers retain founding eligibility while paid membership remains continuous. Upgrades take effect after payment of the prorated adjustment you explicitly accept; downgrades take effect at the next renewal and preserve prepaid Premium access until then.
What happens if I cancel or a payment fails?
Cancellation preserves access through the prepaid term. Reversing it before access ends preserves founding rates. Once paid membership fully ends, returning membership uses the then-current regular price, while permanently finalized numbered recognition remains. Qualifying full first-payment refunds are treated separately as explained above. Failed renewals have a 10-day recovery window; repeated failures do not restart it.
What happens when all 50 places are assigned?
New paid memberships use the regular $7 or $15 monthly rates. We will never silently replace the price you accepted with a higher one. A temporary checkout reservation may make a remaining place unavailable until that checkout completes or expires unpaid.
